Pennsylvania Trap Shooting State Tournament

Registration begins April 15th!

This exciting season-ending inclusive tournament is a great opportunity to have fun and for everyone to participate as individuals and teams. Registration is coordinated through the team and closes May 1st at Noon CT.

Welcome to the Pennsylvania Trap Shooting State Tournament!

More than 35 high school teams featuring over 550 student athletes are expected for the Pennsylvania Trap Shooting State Tournament!

Single-day competition for each team!

All current League-registered student athletes and teams are invited to participate. A team requires a minimum of five student athletes to participate in the team competition. All student athletes are eligible for the individual competition.

Each team is assigned a tournament day as determined by their Class designation and will compete against other competitors within their assigned Class. Teams and individuals will compete in their respective classifications (Novice, Junior Varsity, and Varsity) based on the athlete’s Spring season-ending average. An athlete’s 100-target score is used for both individual and team competitions.

Registration Fee: $45

Includes an official tournament t-shirt, 100 targets, individual and team awards, and earned 25/50/75/100 straight patches.

Daily Schedule

7:30 AM

Team Check-In

A coach from each team is required check-in with event staff and obtain tournament materials. Student athletes are required to check-in with their team (not event staff) at their assigned field. All check-ins should occur at least 45 minutes prior to the team’s start time.

8:45 AM

Opening Ceremony

National anthem and opening comments.

9:00 AM

Competition Begins

Teams that are scheduled in the first time slot in the first session will begin the competition on their assigned field.

4:00 PM

Award Ceremony

Approximate time. The award ceremony will include conference and tournament award presentations shortly after the conclusion of competition. Athletes and/or teams that do not plan to stay through the conclusion of the event can pick up conference awards during the event or designate someone to claim the award on their behalf. Awards that are not picked up will be mailed to the team approximately 30 days after the event.

Hershey is just east of Pennsylvania’s state capital, Harrisburg. The Hershey Story museum chronicles the community’s creation as a model town for the workers at Milton Hershey’s chocolate factory. Hersheypark opened in 1907 as a modest green space but grew to include rides and attractions, including a zoo. Hershey Gardens has a rose garden and butterfly house. Hersheypark Stadium and Giant Center host concerts.
